Laptop Keyboard types wrong letters - mapping problem

Hi all,

I'm having some problems with a Lenovo G700 Laptop that I'm fixing up to sell, in that the keyboard has been faulty for a while, but now all of the keys have started working again, a few of them have the wrong mapping.

I am in the UK so use QWERTY mapping, but the problem keys are J, K and L. For example, J types I, and K types O, and L types P - notice how all of these are the keys directly above the ones that are supposed to be typed in my keyboard layout.

So far, I've checked Windows 10 settings to ensure I am using UK mapping, checked the registry code and it matched UK QWERTY, updated the latest Lenovo keyboard driver, and used a keyboard mapping tweaking utility to try and adjust the mapping, but that read that the keys were mapped correctly. I'm now starting to think this could be a hardware problem.

Any ideas? Thanks.
