Mouse problem

Just got a new mouse.. when lifting it off the mousepad it continues to poll. So if my hand tilts it races my mouse pointer around, in games it can cause much confusion.

Is there any setting I can fiddle with or do I have to return it?

what mouse did you get? i've had cheap mice and none of them did this...

Is "lift-off distance" a setting you can adjust in the mouse's software?

OK, staying on topic. You need to look for a setting in the mouse software (I assume it has some to control the lighting and such) for "lift-off distance." If there is no such setting, I'm afraid I can only advise buying a better, less gimmicky mouse.

There were directions.

 

All the details were in chinese. However I found some wierd lines with raitings from 1000 to 10000, I dropped all of them but the 1000 and it works much easier.
