I'm so confused

airN_

Hey, my computers been recently encountering a problem (1-2 months ago) where my computer would crash every time the power draw became too heavy (or at least I thought). I decided to get a new psu as just a guess, and it came in today. I use the new wires in the box just to be safe, and made sure to install it correctly. I turn it on run cinebench r23, ran it and again it crashes. I'm very confused please help me.

Do you get any (BSOD) error code?

Because it could be many things. My guess is a wanky Ram Frequency setting, because Ryzen is known to not properly work with some DOCP profiles.

Please indicate the full details regarding to the system crash.
1) Is it BSOD? If so, please state the BSOD Code error message
2) Will the PC restart itself under heavy load?
3) Will the PC shut off itself under heavy load?
There are plenty of reasons on why a pc crashes under heavy load. Many could help. Give full details.

Yeah straight up crash in cinebench is almost always either the ram being unstable of a cpu overclock being unstable. Hopefully they aren't overclocking their cpu and not running stock and asking this.

Have you tried running cinebench at stock clocks and ram frequencies? Cinebench is often very hard on memory and cpu and can cause crashing even if it's stable in most other programs.
