Matching 3000hz with 3200hz ram will it work at 3000hz both?

i have corsair vengeance 8gb 3000hz ram in my pc , i am thinking to upgrade by adding another 8gigs but apparently i am getting the 3200hz one cheaper than 3000hz one. So will it be just fine? will the 3200hz one run at 3000hz as well?

The odds of it not working are slim to none, but it will depend on the motherboard and the CPU's memory controller to be sure. It should just run at the higher timings and lower speed though.

If it's Ryzen it maybe don't work at all.

What's your CPU and motherboard?

What's the exact part number and version number of both kits?
