GPU Help Bonanza!

Saving Ash

Hey!

My RX 5700 XT has done nothing but crash on me for the past year or so.

So Ive decided Ive had it with AMD and their monkey drivers, and posted it on FB marketplace trading for an NV card.

I got offered a 3060, a 2060 Super, a 2070, and a 1080Ti Turbo.

Which one should I go with?

I will attach photos of my 5700 when it crashes.

That is not drivers. That is a hardware problem, very likely an issue with the VRAM. A lot of Nvidia 20-series cards actually had a similar problem with faulty VRAM, you can google "Nvidia Turing space invaders" to see examples.

If you trade that card to someone without telling them about this issue and showing them these same screenshots you are robbing them.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I took it to Microcenter, and they left it on a test bench for like 6 hours and said nothing was wrong though?
