Need help advising build

combine1237

Budget (including currency): 2000 usd total

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, GTA V, Valorant, streaming, 3-D modeling in school

Other details : Need a monitor thinking about M27q https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Monitor-Display-Response-FreeSync/dp/B08JWCHR5N

Looking at recommending this pc as a balance for their needs seeing they still need a monitor.

https://nzxt.com/product/bld-kit-starter-pro-pc

Does anyone have issues with nzxt bld or the psu?

So tldr 11400f + 3060ti with 16gb ram and sn550 for $1399 usd with a g27q 1440p monitor for 299 usd all totaling  ~$1700 usd before tax leaving room for some peripherals.

Does anyone have a better idea in this market?

Edit:  Wrote wrong model of monitor.

Case is dogsht with no airflow so itll cook your parts and the psu is only a measly 500w bronze unit they didnt even specify, hot garbage better off buying parts yourself then have someone assemble it for you

The H510 is fine, but I would agree with you on the PSU.

You'd be better off buying a Newegg prebuilt or just finding something on Facebook Marketplace.

Any concrete suggestions then? I have not really bought any new hardware in the past year or two due the market. This build is not for me but a new person getting into building/owning their own rig. I can give them a decent 650w bronze psu for superflower I have laying around I figured.

If you dont wanna get ripped off by garbage prebuilts or build kits then just buy the parts yourself and have someone assemble it for you so you can make sure the parts arent cheap garbage

I recognize that you can build your own pc with better components the issue is trying to find a 3060 ti  or better somewhere at a decent price right now and I have no idea where to look without paying way more than its worth.

Edit: Also the sabrent is a QLC drive better off paying 10 usd more for a tlc like the p5 imo.

Where are you going to get a GPU from right now?

Newegg prebuilts are pretty good if you have someone who is relatively good at troubleshooting tech, perhaps such as yourself.

Most of the time they work fine, just for the occasional moment when they don't.

The only changes I'd make here is a new CPU cooler.

Just talked to them they are still considering the nzxt build for the slightly newer processor and they can still assemble the build themselves.

Edit: I can also throw in one of these I have laying around to shore up the build. https://www.newegg.com/super-flower-leadex-iii-sf-650f14hg-650w/p/1HU-024C-00007?Item=9SIAMNPAY44593

I mean, with the Newegg you will generally get a better PSU already. And you save $50, which is roughly the difference in cost between 10400F and 11400F.

I know and if it was me I would do that but, I feel they like the idea of assembling their own pc.

Thanks all for the suggestions and help. It just seems like a hell of a time to build a pc right now.

The NZXT is fine, strictly speaking. So if they want to do that, I would go for the NZXT.
