70 is faster than 50 is it not? But still both are very old by current standards so either will be limited in what they can do.

Edit: I totally missed 1st time around the 68 vs 69 also. So, I have no idea which is fastest, but their age remains a concern.

I actually bought a HD 6970 for my Terascale collection.

The HD 6950 is very close in performance, especially if you flash a HD 6970 vBIOS on it.

The settings i used for most games are not the lowest, and look rather nice.

I have wrote a few notes during the review of this card:

Can't play DX12 and Vulkan titles

Loud

Stutters in some games (overclocking significantly reduces stuttering, tested at 950MHz)

Games i tested and resolution i used:

Playable games:

Battlefield 3 (60+ FPS) (1080p)
Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes(60+ FPS) (1080p)
Tomb Raider 2013 (60+ FPS) (1080p)
Metro Last Light (60+ FPS) (1080p)
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (60+ FPS) (900p)
Onee Chanbara ORIGIN (4K)
Ryse: Son of Rome (1080p)
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (1080p)
Deadpool (1080p)
Need for Speed Rivals (1080p)
Max Payne 3 (1080p)
Far Cry 4 (1080p)
Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (1080p)
Tales of Arise (1080p)
Deus EX Mankind Divided (1080p)
Kingdom Come deliverance (1050p)

Completely unplayable games:

Star Wars Jedi Fallen order (Poor performance no matter the settings)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Driver Artifacts, affects all Terascale GPUs,tested on my HD 6750 as well)
Devil May Cry 5 (Need to drop the resolution too much for playable performance)
Batman Arkham Knight (Driver Artifacts, affects all Terascale GPUs,tested on my HD 6750 as well)

Yakuza 0 while the FPS is OK at 1080p,the card had a severe stuttering issue.
