Question about M2 enclosures.

l plan on upgrading my M2 drive and I need an external enclosure for my new drive to copy the operating system to. Best Buy has the StarTech dual M2 enclosure which can also be used as RAID drive. I won't use the RAID feature but the dual drive will make a nice enclosure for the old drive and an extra M2 I have on hand. Will this drive allow me to copy the operating system or do I need a single drive enclosure?

What enclosure is it exactly? Usually those that support RAID have DIP switches to set the mode, and can also be set to just show the drives independently of each other so no issue.

The one I'm looking at is M.2 SATA only with red PCB. This the right one?
