I just saw the part in the recent build video about the ltt bagpack and the very front pouch.

The zipper placement strikes me as somewhat suboptimal for right-handed people.

Why?

Imagine you wear the bagpack and need something from that pouch. You swing it over your shoulder and find that exactly where you would reach in there is no zipper so to get to anything you have to reach around or somehow from the top

Just swing it to the other side.

I have a camera backpack that side pockets on both sides, I have no problems swinging it around to any of the sides depending on what of the pockets I know I need to access.

I am right handed.

I don't understand your picture. Why would anyone sling the backpack over their shoulder so that the majority of it is off of the body?

You learn it quickly. If something has only one side of use, it's up to you to learn it. Or, think every item you currently use with ease, and then think of all the lefties (left handed) who are as annoyed as you are about this.

wait, it's not a double zipper'd backpack so you can zip it from anywhere?

I think OP means some smaller front pocket. The one I've seen on WAN has double zipper that (I think?) goes all the way down instead of stopping at half way. For the main compartment.

Considering it opens like that, I wouldn't even want to just "swing and grope". Think of all the things you could very easily drop.

Linus' idea was that you dont open the bottom zipper part so its opened sideways (check the upside down build at ~4:08:20 onwards)
