WTF IS THIS FAN CONNECTOR?

BagelKing
Go to solution Solved by Speakerator,

From a quick google search it appears that the fan headers on the board are a mini version usually used on GPUs (probably since its a small ITX board). However, there should be adapters included in the box:

Spoiler

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question I'm just wrapping up my build and have encountered a type of 4pin fan connector I've never seen before (see attached).

This is my first complete re-build in 4-5 years so I'm probably behind the times here but it's driving me mad trying to find the right adapter to get my noctua fans connected to these.

I've made a guess and ordered one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/EK-Water-Blocks-Adapter-PWM-Noir/dp/B01MQOGCFV/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=pwm+adapter&qid=1640181083&sprefix=pwm+adap%2Caps%2C64&sr=8-4

But I'd love an explanation here as to what these connecters are and what I should be using here...

Thank you!!

Those look like standard 4-pin headers. Do the Noctua fans not just plug in?

Edit:

I was incorrect. See below

Isn't the notch offset on 4-pin headers?

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Those are not standard headers, no.  If I'm not mistaken there should be adapters included in the accessories, no? Like what you have here?

Yah, I guess they looked larger in the picture compared to the GPU header style 🙂
