So, i have a new system

Ryzen 3700x

MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus

32GB Corsair LPX 3600 8GB (x4)

EVGA 3080ti

Nvme Gen4 Corsair MP600 500GB

Nvme Gen3 T-Force 512GB

My problem is, while in BIOS i try to just press the XMP Profile, but the ram speed never changes, tried profile 1 or 2 same result, if manually set to 3600 Pc Crash the max i can set it to work is at 3466, any solution, or something i can change to really use my ram at 3600?

thanks.

Heard of this kind of problem before. It might be you just have low quality ram that isn’t actually up to the spec the manufacturer claimed.  Wouldn’t be the first time.  Is the stuff on your motherboard’s QVL?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

are you sure you actually apply the setting,  ie. "save&reboot"?

if yes, then try with only 2 sticks, some motherboards have issues running more, especially ryzen + cheap lpx ram isnt exactly a good combo (are the sticks optimized for ryzen or intel, did they come with a sticker like this...? its not mandatory but chances for it to work are definitely better as its been tested)

According to corsair website yes, those are the ones i got, not much because price but because i cant put any "normal" ot "tall" one  will interfere with the radiator

task manager says 3533MHz this is the max i can set, if i try to put at 3600 crash,

yeah, thats fairly normal for ryzen with that much ram and no additional tinkering, id be happy it runs (doesnt it??) tbh... (sidenote: you should always buy two ram sticks instead of 4, so in your case 2x16, its just easier for the memory controller)

im not sure about the other problem with the cooler or radiator... i have no issue with my gskill Trident z and noctua u12s cooler...
