PC wakes from appliances being used

Hey, I have a problem with my pc waking from sleep mode when I turn on my lights (only sometimes, usually when I flick the switch fast), when the garage opens, a hair dryer is used, random stuff like that which deals with the house’s electricity. I couldn’t exactly find anything dealing with troubleshooting this kind of problem. Only hardware, software, or living in a place with power cuts. I have my computer plugged into a surge protector in the wall.

In your BIOS is the PC set to boot automatically when it receives power? Maybe the draw from other appliances is causing the power to dip momentarily and trip that.
