2 gtx 780s support 3 27" 2560x1440 screens?

1 x Crossover 27" 2560x1440 DVI-I
2 x Crossover 27" 2560x1440 HDMI

Will it work as a tripple monitor setup? Will there be too heavy of a load on the one that has 2 monitors hooked up to it or does SLI even everything out?

I thought that you could only use the first cards output. 3gb might not be enough methinks

I believe all monitor must be hooked up to the primary GPU to run a Nvidia Surround experience. Even then though, your performance in most games would be horrendous at that resolution

SLI helps with the graphics power a lot, but you may run into Vram issues, with only have 3gb but you should be fine.

Triple 1440p will be crap on two 780s as there's just not enough VRAM for it.

Well crap. What if i drop down 1920x1080?

If you got 3x 1080 you would be fine but honestly I'm not a fan of multi monitor gaming. 1x 1440p for me is bliss and other monitors I have just get used for shoving crap onto to look at like a yt vid or pandora while I'm gaming or something.

I want to have the OPTION of having multi-monitor gaming but i will most likely only be using 1 for gaming at a time.

Fair enough, it's just my opinion on the multi monitor gaming thing.
