will an msi gtx 1050 ti overload a 290w psu?

hey i have an inspiron 3670 and i heard from the dell website that it shouldnt be a problem but i wanted someone to back it up.

it was manufactured in 2018. contains i5+ processor 8th gen

If it's one with no PCIe power cable it's only going to draw 75 watts. Assuming you have. Core i7 or core i5 that's also gonna be under 100 watts. Ram only consumes a dozen or so watts, which leaves you with almost 100 watts for the rest of your system. You should be just fine.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
