Looking for a TV for my friend's dad

Jerzy_Kaszubik

Budget: 2000-3000PLN ($500-750), no more than 4000PL ($1000)

Hello,

I think title says it all. Looking for a 55" TV preferably with Smart TV and I doubt that he'll invest in soundbar or speakers, so something with decent built-in audio will be nice. TV will be in bedroom, used 2-3 hours a day. His dad usually watches sports, TV programs, sometimes a movie before bed. I thought about Philips Ambilight, since it'll be in bedroom and will create nice effect, but maybe you'll have better suggestions. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The TCL 6 series makes a compelling argument. Roku built in, Full Array Local Dimming, supports Dolby Vision, Mini-LED backlight.

55" is  $699.99 USD which according to Google is $2,909.12 PLN so I'd guess you'd be able to get pretty close

(65" is  $898 USD)

Currently have to game on Wife's PC (see profile) so instead here's my Home Theater Setup!

TV: 2019 65" Vizio P-Series Quantum X | Media Streamer: Roku Ultra 2020 | UHD Player: Panasonic UB820 | Consoles: PS5 with 4TB external SSC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo WiiU (Ethernet to everything)

SOUND
5.1.4 AVR: Marantz SR6014 | 2 Polk S55 Mains, Polk S35 Center, 2 Polk S50 Sides, 4 Polk S15 Height Channels, HTS 12 Subwoofer

"decent built-in audio" does not exist, imho.  It gets worse the flatter the display is, as you need depth to move quantity of air for bass response.
