Beyerdynamic T1 Gen1/Blue Spark Amp/Dac Combo

Dasteroes

Hey guys, thanks for coming to help me! I am looking to expand my horizons on audio.

Background:

I am not very knowledgeable about DAC/AMP and Pre-AMPs to say the least. I am an avid gamer, and listen/watch to a lot of music/movies. I recently acquired a Pair of Beyerdynamic T1 Gen 1s and a Blue Spark/Blue Icicle combo for 200 bucks from a good friend of mine who recently upgraded. I am currently running the T1s  out of my Asus Essence STX II sound card (which is running 5+ years old now). The Blue Spark runs through the Icicle and into my PC.

Question/Goal:

I was going to get a sound card again but decided against it, don’t wanna spend 300 bucks for 2015 technology. I have been googling and reading a lot about what I should get for my set up to bring it up to par and squeeze out all the quality possible. Sadly, I’m lost in the sauce that you audiophiles swim in. From what I understand the T1s are very bright and fit well with a tube amp (idk what the difference is but cool) and that I need a DAC. I was looking into it and was suggested a Schmitt Hel 2 and a Scarlett 8i6. To push them to the 600ohms they have, is this enough or possibly over kill?? I would prefer to be as much under 500 as possible while maintaining quality. I would also really appreciate the ability to plug my mic in to make cable management easier for me.

thanks for reading my story, please help me I’m drowning!

For the headphones I might recommend the schiit asgard and modi, the mic will want it's own interface, iirc the komplete audio one should work well, the audiobox96 and audient evo4 also work as well. The asgard amp will be a touch on the warmer side, might tame the t1's slightly, has more than enough juice to properly power the t1's.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

3+. The multibit isn't worth it, not to mention it'd blow your budget.

Ok awesome. Also for voltage  115 Vac or 230? What’s the difference?

Depends what power you have at your outlets in your home. If you're in the US, likely 115.

Yes. Voltage will depend on whatever voltage your wall outlets provide in your country. Choose the one that yours has. In the US it's almost a guarentee to be 115v
