A way to fix this issue it to set textures to the lowest and to close all background applications like a browser or messaging app such as google and discord. If this fixed your issue please mark this as the solution so if any one who has this issue find this they will know what the answer is.

Yeah, I can't understand what you're talking about.

You have 6GB installed.  It only showed 2GB.  You went into MSConfig and did something?  Now it show 6GB but uses almost all of it?

And on top of that, your games are freezing?

Undo your changes then. Don't fill up your ram for no reason that is asking for trouble.

Windows reserves some memory for a reason.  It puts system processes in this reserved space to protect them and to do memory indexing - it's more complicated than that, but that's the gist.  Windows also reports a reserved memory space if you happen to have integrated graphics on chip or on board.  You never have all of your installed memory available, no matter how many modules you install.  MSConfig'ing away this protected memory space will absolutely cause the system instability issues you experienced.  The only solution here is to install more memory modules.  6 GB just doesn't cut it these days.  You'll want 8 GB installed at a minimum.  16 GB preferred for gaming if your motherboard supports it.

Now, if you're talking Virtual Memory.  When physical memory is full, it starts hitting virtual memory.  This is a somewhat optimized reserved space on system disk that acts like memory.  If that fills up, you may as well leave your desk, make a sandwich, have tea or coffee, and come back several minutes later.  It has to swap data out of memory and onto disk, and that is an extremely slow process, and will soft lock your machine while it's happening.  Under normal circumstances, you shouldn't have to manually increase the size of your virtual memory.  Having Windows manage it generally is good enough.  Basically, get a kit compatible with your motherboard, and upgrade your RAM.

This is all understandable but my problem is that it was not needed 2 days ago and why it started now.

Could be any number of things.  Maybe a program received an update that causes it to consume more memory.  Buggy updates that introduce memory leaks can eat up all your available memory in a hurry.  Maybe you installed some things that have services or other background processes run.  What wasn't a problem yesterday can easily become one today when it comes to software.  Check for any tasks consuming an abnormally high amount of memory.

What is the rest of your PC?  Can you list all components?  6GB RAM is odd, sounds like you have an older system.

A fresh install of Windows usually helps clear a lot of things up but we need more info than you have given us.

What's the space taken up on that hard drive?  How full is it?  What is that RAM made up of, as in 1 2GB stick and 1 4GB stick, or something else?

We could deep dive into what you've recently downloaded or installed too.  Something starting up with Windows, like a game client or Discord, or something.  Who knows.

When was Windows last installed?  I'd redo it if it's been a year or more.

Are you looking to upgrade?  I'd get an SSD, it will breath a bit of life into that machine.

What did you download?  That may have impacted load times.

Really though, everything you install that needs to be loaded when Windows starts just adds to the timing. You have a slow CPU and are booting off a hard drive.  Your times are not bad really.  I was at 3 minutes before I moved to SSD boot and clean Windows (yeah, I did alot of crap downloading too).

Basically, not much we can do except uninstall stuff or upgrade.
