Weak 1080ti......

Nathan5660

So, my Gigabyte Gaming OC 1080ti running with my Ryzen 7 2700x CPU, with 16gb 3000mghz RAM, on a Samsung 860 EVO SSD, powered by a Corsair 750watt PSU, is getting an average of 63 FPS in Red Dead 2 1440p Low/Medium settings.

What the hell is up with that? Every single video I see of the 1080ti in Red Red 2 at 1440p gets like 70fps average at HIGH settings! I cant even get that at LOW. I dont get it, is my GPU just shitty or what? And no its not overheating before anyone asks, and no its not over clocked far as i know it never has been.

Whats going on? Am I cpu bottlenecked with the 2700x? Is my RAM too slow? My MOBO is an Asrock B450 Pro 4, whats the best CPU that it can support?

Usage of the GPU is always between 90 and 100% in Red Dead 2. CPU usage i think was something like 40%

Install gpu z and log data while playing rdp2 and see perfcap reason code ( if your temps and clocks are ok)
