Difference between these two laptop fans?

They look the same except the fan itself.

Is one better than the other or is there no difference at all in terms of performance?

i presume it's a minor design difference to fit slightly different chassis designs.

 

if you're replacing a fan, try to find as close as the one you already have.

Thanks guys I replaced the original (top) with the wheel like fan. A bit too noisy for my liking but temps are similar.
