Looking for a laptop

I need a laptop with the following specs :

 

- 13 - 14 inch

- Quad core CPU

- 8 - 16 GB of RAM

- Good speakers

- 1080P Screen

- Somewhat a good webcam

 

My budget is below US$500

 

I currently own a HP EliteBook 840 G3 but it seems that its not enough for my use.

I have a similar one and it has worked well for the ~6 months I've had it, even with Windows 11. IMO you'd want to upgrade to 12 or 16gb of ram since 2gb of that laptop's is used by the iGPU

What are you doing on the laptop? What is it struggling with?

 

I mean all here is semi possible except good speakers and a good webcam that is just too low of a budget. But before I start recommending laptops answer my questions first.

Yes, if on a hard flat surface. They fire downwards so on your lap they sound a bit muffled.

I am basically using the laptop for school since they just started using Google Classroom instead of the traditional notebook form. The laptop sometimes feel sluggish. For example this morning i was on a zoom call and i tried to open a few edge tabs i could notice the laptop struggling by how laggy the sound of the meeting was.
