Because I don't feel like buying a new motherboard with maybe a new cpu for this problem just yet.
Maybe in about a year or so but not yet.

I would never replace the mobo if the only problem is missing CPU cooler RGB heh.

When I tried to look for a 4 pin rgb header on my B450 motherboard, I found none.

This the manual for your mobo: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b450-aorus-pro-wifi_1002_e_190528.pdf

In it you will find the location for the 4 pin RGB header:

So I have a build with a Gigabyte B450 Aorus PRO and I got a CPU cooler from a friend.

The cooler is the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB V2.

I installed it and found out that the fans use  a 4 pin female connector.

When I tried to look for a 4 pin rgb header on my B450 motherboard, I found none.

The motherboard only has a 5 pin RGBW header and an 3 pin ARGB header.

I already tried using the 5 pin header without using the W pin (is specifically for the colour white) but then the sync with my other parts wont be good.

(And using the ARGB header is not an option)

I already tried looking for RGB controllers/hubs who support 4 pin fans and use an ARGB header for the motherboard but I wasn't able to find one yet.

Do you guys have a fix or solution for this problem?

Because I don't feel like buying a new motherboard with maybe a new cpu for this problem just yet.

Thank you. I actually tried again putting the rgb cable in the RGBW header without using the W pin.

For some reason: its working!

At least thank you for commenting on my post. That someone was able to give at least a reply.
