I cam across this article about audio and how it doesn't make a difference if you have an MP3 or uncompressed music and whatever. After reading it I don't quite know what to say. I would still like higher quality music just because even if I can't hear a difference.

So you approve of the download size of Titanfall? That was mostly all uncompressed audio. Did they change/fix it?

I don't know I don't have or want to play Titanfall.

I've taken a bunch of tests and stuff and 100% of the time can tell a difference. For the better I may add ;)

I dont think anything higher quality then your average cd rip to mp3 320 will make a difference but i can definitely hear some digital garbage if the bitrate is less but for sample rate and bit depth i cant really tell.

I always try to find FLAC over MP3 if i can. its so much better!

Sure there is more data but 90% of the time I cant tell the difference but I guess if you have the disk space why not.

you can hear the difference up to 1000 kb ps flacs, after that, it doesnt matter that much. from experiences from me using my friends audio gear.

the basic principle of MP3 is that they cut out the frequencies that you dont hear anyway.

ofcourse there are different samples, but most MP3s are perfectly fine even lower than 320kbps ones. so 320 is perfectly fine.

but then again my knowledge is pretty limited in this area.

You need to do an ABX test if you want to hear for a difference.
