Ryzen 9 5950x Max Ram Speed

Can anyone tell me what the max ram speed ryzen 9 5950x is capable of supporting? I’m looking to get g skill trident z royal elite ram sticks for my build at 4266mhz c19. I was using pc part picker to help with compatibility, and it saying that the voltage required for the ram is too high for that speed and the cpu would limit it. I was wanting to go with higher speed ram to try and get the most performance from the cpu.

Ryzen 5000 can reach that speed if the memory modules are good (and good mobo OC feature).

If i were you, i would buy a cheaper Trident Z samsung 3200mhz CL14 , it will reach that speed relatively easy.

That memory i bet it's the same one, they just factory OC it for you, what's the fun?

Do note that any speeds over 3200 is considered overclocking for Ryzen's memory controller, so you have no guarantee above that. However, from what I've heard, all Ryzen 5000 chips are capable of 3600 and a good number will go up to 4000. Above that, you're in silicon lottery territory.

I hear 3600/3800 is the sweet spot, something about timings with the cpu needing to stay 1:1 or something, shrug.

Better check the top speed for the motherboard too.
