Pci-e power slot.

Go to solution Solved by zeibis,

Pci-e connector on PSU only have a 12v rail (yellow wires), so it would be very bad. You need to get molex to sata adapters.

So i just bought a used cooler master power supply.

it came with loads of molex cables but no sata cables.

spare sata cables from my corsair psu fit the Pci-e slot.

Can i use these to power my sata's or do they give a different type of power out?

Many thanks mmc

If you read the same things as others and say the same things they say, then you're perceived as intelligent.

I'm a bit more radical... Woz
