Unless you are gonna watercool it. Grab an aftermarket one.

if you are looking for a budget one the Msi Aftermarket is incredible considering its about the same price as a reference. But if your willing to spend a bit more the EVGAs ones are fairly popular. But tbh any of the MSi,Gigabyte,Asus or EVGA cards are very good and theres very little between them

general rule for 99% gfx crds is reference for watercooling and non reference for air with the exception of that sexy beast reference cooler on the 700series :P

also @Prokart2000 anyone from msi, asus, evga or gigabyte. go for whichever one you like or thinks looks best. personally i would have gone for the kingpin eiditon coz its beast but i went for reference since i plan on watercooling. good luck :)

Would watercooling be a possible upgrade after? I would get a reference one cause I really love the stock cooler but a aftermarket one will only be better by a bit. The quietest cooler is a 780 + a waterblock, but when talking about aftermarket ones I have no clue.

if you are going for quiet then get different fans. the corsair ones perform good but can get quite loud from what everyone says.

my buddy has a 770 by evga. had to rma 3 times i think. and he only got refurbished ones.. also they were scratched and not the exact same model as the one he primarily RMAed. my gigabyte performes better in overclocking, noise and temperatures. i would not recommend evga

                                                                                      wow... pretty empty here...
