2021 FX 6300 Build!

Kind of a unconventional build for 2021 but I love this setup.

What are your opinons on the parts listed? What would you change?

 

CPU: AMD FX 6300 OC to 4.7GHz

RAM: 24GB of DDR 3 at 1866MHz

Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P FX rev 2.1

GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ OC RX 480 4GB

Storage: 1TB WD Blue HDD. 240GB Crucial SSD

PSU: Corsair CX550M

CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 7X

Wait, which GPU is that. It just says "Sapphire Nitro+ OC 4GB". Also, I would personally stick with just 16GB of RAM for dual channel.

Personally I'd just change the case to something with more airflow and a nice window and get a good sticker with the FX logo to show off

I'll always have a sweet spot for those FX series, can't help it.

I wouldn't bother with more than 16GB RAM personally. Besides, running that configuration will cause problems down the line.

 

It's *okay* at best. I'd be more impressed if it were being used as like... a self-setup NAS unit than a gaming system. FX is garbage-tier. Like asking how your Pentium 4 gaming system looks when everyone has Sandy Bridge. xD

I'm actually looking at new case already. Thinking I'll get a Cooler Master Masterbox Pro 5 ARGB. Simple, hopefully better airflow.
