Dual Channel possible even it got Different Ram/Module Brand on each slot?

Recently i upgrade my i5-2400 system to Ryzen 5 1600 system but i unfortunately i only be able to have Single Channel 8GB but now when i gonna buy another stick of this ram the seller run out of it so i can't get that exact ram again
my question is, can i get SKHynix/Samsung Ram Chip/Module while my current stick is from Micron
another question can i have Dual Channel if i have 8GB+16GB in my system?

Gigabyte A320M-S2h Rev 1.2
Ryzen 5 1600 w/ Stock Wraith Spire

Micron 8GB 2666MHz From HP Prebuilt @ 3533MHz CL18 (Single Channel)

MSI RX 460 4GB OC w/ RX 560 Bios for couple months

WD Green 240GB m.2 SATA III 
WD Blue 7200RPM 1TB
WD Blue 5400RPM 1TB
Seagate Pipeline 5900RPM 500GB
Zalman ZM600-HP (Heatpipe Utilized PSU) 600W

ddr4 is alot more forgiving than ddr3 to my knowledge, so it should still fully work if you get another 8gb stick
if you only get a 4gb stick, so (8+4) only 8gb of the total 12gb would be in dual channel
