Both have inputs from 100V to 240V and both support 50Hz and 60Hz.
So using the adapter should work fine, unless you have very weird power. 😉

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Thanks for the fast reply,

let me just be more clear - It won't damage the battery/laptop, right?

Thanks, noted!

What about using the phone's charger (to save me some space in my bag)?

Either should be perfectly fine!

Thanks ❤️

And what about charging speed?

The phone's charger is slower?

They seem to output the same power?  So probably no really significant difference.

What do you mean same output? Both 65W?

I think the 65W mode on the OnePlus charger is a proprietary charging mode, so the charger may only provide 45W to the laptop because that's the maximum it can do in PD mode.

USB PD on both is 45.  If it delivers 65, then it'd be faster than the phone charger.

Thank you guys so much!

Hopefully last question, let's say the phone's charger is delivering 45w to the laptop, what's the laptop power output (to the laptop)?

(sorry for my English)

That 45 Watt is the amount being send from charger to notebook/phone.
(it will take more from the wall as no adapter is 100% efficient. As in if its on 45Watt (charger) output, it might take 50-55Watts from the wall._

And before you kill someone (probably yourself) with this US style plug (you can touch the live wire quite easily), get a replacement cable. It's probably a IEC C7 and you should find a replacement quite easily.

Thanks for the heads up, I think I'll use the phone charger exclusively (after some tests to see it's not soo slow),

but I guess I should replace the wire anyway, this is the current wire which look exactly like the sketch you sent:

Except the model (IEC C7) is there anything I should specify while shopping? like voltage or similar stuff?

Thanks again!

No. Just a simple Euro C7 power chord. And you can choose the length and if you want angled plugs.
