AIO water cooler doubts

Mathantastic
Go to solution Solved by tkitch,

your case has over 160mm of clearance, it's really good on that.

Those coolers are all in the GN review I linked above, check it out.

Country: Brazil
I am wanting to buy a new cooler for my Ryzen 7 5800x, but as I have a relativly small case (mATX sized) I think that maybe pairing it up with an AIO would be better, specially cause I plan on putting a 3070 in it, and I'd like to keep as much air as possible for that GPU, since the small case might make it overheat.
My doubts are, do I need any special plugs on my motherboard for AIOs? I have a CPU fan and a CPU OPT ports, would these ports be enough?
Also, my case is thicker, so it could support a 280mm rad, but the difference in price from a 240mm and a 280mm (500R$ for 240 and 1100R$ for 280) is so huge that I wonder if its really worth it.image.thumb.png.d136ae9e443db8f8b37cda23cf46dbd2.png

Would this cooler, be enough to hold a non overclocked 5800x?

What case are you using?  That matters.

And also:  There isn't really "saving air for the GPU"

Also:  Most AIOs use a CPU FAN header (or CPU OPT) + a USB Connector on the mobo

That aio is pretty much garbage tier. Just pick a decent air cooler and performance will be the same and a good 240 aio is about 10C better.

would this cooler be a decent cooler?

100 bucks for  THAT?!

Your case has the clearance, get a Noctua NHD15.  The king.  (Chromax Black if you want the black color, and not the normal fan colors.)

prices aren't really the same here in brazil, we pay 60% taxes on any eletronics, the Noctua NHD15 is 899R$ here, considerably more expensive than that, but, if its trully that good, it might be worth it.
Is the Noctua NH U12S significantly worse? cause that one is around the same 500 R$ish price

100 bucks is the MSRP for that Corsair cooler.  The MSRP for the Noctua is pretty similar.

What's the actual price of that cooler in Brazil?

the U12S is a good, solid, cooler:

Corsair cooler is 620
NHD15 is 899
U12S is 570, but its for the non colored version wich I would prefer if it was black, the black one is like 790 R$ from what I found

MSRP is not really a thing here in brazil, the prices generally depend on how active is a certain company in the country, if it has an industry here to make the product here, etc. Noctua is not really active here, so its hard to get it for a nice price

Arctic Freezer 50: Couldn't find it, only on foreign websites, and on those it'll cost a fortune to import to brazil lol
Scythe Fuma 2: Very cheap, 380R$, it looks a little cheap, is it good?

Dark Rock Pro 4: 956R$

Deepcool Assassin 3: 630R$, I know its dumb to judge by looks, but this one looks awesome lol, but I'm kinda worried it might not fit? It has a 140mm fan, i'll have to check if it does
