Z690 Chipset question

Hi All

 

Is there any word on Z690 SATA capabilities? I am after more than 6 ports that can be raided together.

I am looking at AMD at the moment as there are 8 port motherboards out there from what I can tell be raided into raid 0.

 

I am just trying to find out if Intel have up'ed the port count on their chipset from 6 in raid 0?

Wait for it to come out.

 

Use software raid, you don't want to use the raid included on your motherboard.

 

Id guess 6 ports though, Sata seems to be slowly going away so it seems unlikely they would add more.
