8 memory slots?

why don’t all motherboards have 8 memory slots? it would look so much better

Most consumers do not require 8 DIMM slots. This is reserved for HEDT (High-End Desktop) motherboards, paired with CPUs like AMD Ryzen Threadripper or Intel Core Extreme processors, where they need the extra RAM and bandwidth for their daily needs.

I don't know, why doesn't this motherboard have 8 memory slots?

the lower end a motherboard is the more likely that it will be paired with a lower end cpu. this means that if the cpu is low end it wont have the bandwidth to support 8 memory slots. so what's the point of putting 8 memory slots when it will only increase the cost to produce, ship and also this would mean longer cases and taller also the what 500-2500$ build (id say 2500 is the most that many people would spend on a gaming pc with 500$ being a minimum.) need 8 slots of ram like 16gb is enough and all motherboards have 2 slots for 2x8 gb stick or even 4 diims if u wanted to for some reason on a slightly more expensive board.

Because they're dual channel. The best and most efficient would be just two slots. Four is a comprise because consumers like the idea that they could upgrade by adding more sticks later. However, the memory topology puts a lot more stress on the IMC. 8 slots would likely not even work, even if some motherboard manufacturer made such a thing.

The motherboards that do actually have 8 slots are quad channel. So it's still the same thing (4 ideal, 8 for "upgradeability").
