Is there any  possibility that the gpu price will fall  ?

I am trying  to buy to  GPU . but the price is very high . So when the price will fall . Even the 2nd GPU price is high for me.

I imagine it wont fall until the stock shortages start to improve

They're predicting prices won't fall until sometime next year as demand outstrips supply. This is for the whole semiconductor industry.

2 things need to happen.

1...Supply improves. That should help reduce prices back towards MSRP.

2nd thing, and this is the one least likely to happen. People need to start voting with their wallet and not just accept the price they are offered.

over the last 20 years or so, its become a seller market, with business setting any price they feel like and people just accepting it, forget not buying it, they just buy it anyway.

Until people stop buying those £1000+ gaming cards, Nvidia and AMD will continue to make such prices the new 'normal'.

Until the 20 series, going back 20 years roughly, the top end gaming card cost (with inflation) ~ $/£700. Your not goign to see that again until both the above things happen, and 1 of those is very unlikely to anytime soon.

That's consumerism for ya! :p.

I'd say both are unlikely to change very soon as the feeling to buy has been majorly elevated due to scarcity. Thus anything that does make it to market is gone instantly.

However I am seeing a positive trend here where I live as almost all cards are in stock right now but barely anyone is buying.

You're gonna be looking at late 2022 at the earliest is what they been saying so far. I managed to snag a 3080ti from Microcenter a few weeks ago without erven realizing they had it in stock. I've been looking for a 3080 or 3090 but the cheapest 3090 they had was $2100 and no 3080 at all. I got the Aorus Master 3080ti as an open box for $1439. I was in no hurry since I have a 2080ti but I figured why not and bought it.
