Hello,

When i turned off my PC today, 3 red leds were blinking on the PCIe connectors of the GPU. So now I'm wondering if I need more Power.

I use a HX750 on multi rail and my GPU is connected with 2 separate PCIe Power cables (2x8 and 1x8) . I have a i9-11900K and a Asus Rog 3070 Ti OC.

I also calculated about 600-650W with Outervision and newegg.

Should i get more wattage or are 750W enough?

Thanks in advance

Yeah that can overwhelm a hx750. The 3070ti can easily peak well above it's rated power target especially when the 10900k is aggresively boosting too.

However since this is with the pc off it's just some residual charge probably. Same thing happens on my vega 56 if I shut the computer down right after a intensive task.

that means its not getting power. or it sohuld mean that. hx750 is borderline enough,

so does the pc work=?

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

That power supply and configuration should be capable of running that system.

When you turn your PC on does it work correctly? It's strange that it happened when you turned your PC off... How long did the blinking last for after you turned the computer off?

@SavageNeo it's working probably. i already played EFT and other games.
@Spotty they started blinking about 1 hour after i turned off my pc.

If the 10900k is OCed you could be pushing it… but that is also a very good PSU and should be able to handle a few spikes here and there. Games will not fully load a CPU, so max wattage I would expect the CPU to ever pull in games even when OCed is ~150. So you should be fine unless your hitting both CPU and GPU hard in something like rendering.
