Motherboard BIOS

Hey, will CPU work with motherboard who has latest BIOS version, but CPU needs first BIOS version or will it work just fine?

Depends. If this is for an AMD build, it may not.

Yep it's AMD, I have MSI A320A PRO MAX, and AMD Ryzen 5 1600, BIOS ver. on MB is c52v21, CPU needs c52v20, so it will work?

For A320 boards, all BIOS versions should support first gen Ryzen. If MSI's website says it supports the 1600, you should be good to go.

 

It's the B450 and X470 boards that can lose support with later BIOS versions, because the boards lose support for older parts to make room in BIOS memory for 5000 series CPUs.
