Does the 80+ rating affect OC-ing?

I was just wondering, does the 80+ rating affect how well a system can overclock?

No it doesn't. As far as the power draw from your pc components does not go over the maximum wattage of your psu, you are good. 

What affects is the silicon of the cpu, your cooling, and the VRM cooling on the motherboard, and the power you supply to the cpu.

No, the 80+ rating is just efficiency. The PSU can affect your overclocks though, when you have a power supply with poor electrical performance.

No.  80 PLUS means literally nothing.

There's probably some correlation between PSUs with shitty power regulation and low 80+ rating but probably anyone who would find that edge is going to be buying a better power supply to begin with.   Good PSU's are practically free compared to CPU GPU costs nowadays.
