My Build Log "D3SKBUILD"

Hey guys im new to this foum and i haven't posted this on any other forum so this is the first time its getting seen,

project was started about 12 months ago and am maybe 2 months from completion,

project was to completely fabricate from scratch a desk with the pc under the glass,

i have personaly CAD drawn all laser cut parts and cnc milled the plexi myself

 

will have complete water cooling system with 2 x gtx560 quad rads cooling the cpu 2 x gpu's the motherboard the ram and 3 hard drives( for looks)

all ek plexi blocks, had one graphics card turn up DOA so awaiting a replacement to run the system and stress test it before removing stock coolers to fit water blocks

 

anyways ill post some pics and if anyone is interested i can provide more details

 

will get better resolution pics once its all powder coated and together

final results will be powde coated satin black inside and out and run triple 27 inch monitors but im slowly getting there

MB - Asus crosshair formula V

RAM - 32gb corasir dominator gt 1833

GPU - 2 x MSI R7970's

SSD - 2 x OCZ Vector 256gb in raid 0

HDD 3 x Seagate 2tb 

All EK water blocks except the 3 x bitspower black freezer hdd blocks

All Bitspower crystal ling tubing

2 x gtx 560 quad 140mm rads

2 x koolance mcp655 pumps with bitspower mod kits

mouse and keyboard are getting seperate trays at the front pics soon, mouse is a RAT9 keyboard is Razer deathsatlker ultimate

iv got a RAT7 MMO, don't like the RAT9, not much of a wireless fan

Holy crud! I love the lighting and the glowing of everything, very awesome. One of my favorite parts are the hinges on the desk, allowing you to open the glass top, would make management very easy. Keep up the good work. If you decide to sell that shell... I might have to consider...

I'm also interested to know how cool this stays. With such a big "case" does the airflow get impeded?

twin 560 rads mate should be cool as a cucumber, also has the 3 120mm in each end running on a scythe q12 controller, cheers for your interest :)

glass is also on gas struts that "cam over" so when you open it after it opens a few inces it lifts itself up, then when closing once it get to the same point it sucks the glass down tigh and holds it down hard :)
