Warzone + 6900 XT Frametime Inconsistencies

Hi All,

Since a  couple of weeks i have a built a completely new system, excluding my PSU. Ever since i have been experiencing horrible micro stutterings in Call of Duty Warzone. after some research i have completed the below actions to no avail.

PC Specs

OS

Windows 10 64-bit

Motherboard

MSI Tomahawk B550 (BIOS A.70 released 06/29/2021)

CPU

Ryzen 5600X (Cooled by Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black)

PSU

Corsair RMx 750 Watt

GPU

Reference 6900 XT

RAM

32 gig Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 (XMP Profile Enabled)

Storage

500 Gig NVME Samsung 970 EVO

500 Gig Sata SSD 870 EVO

2 tb HDD

Monitor

Samsung G7 32inch

Actions taken:

1: Enabled XMP Profile @3200 Mhz

2: Manual Overclocked 6900xt (see screenshot)

3: Changed adv_options file (OLD values VideoMemoryScale = 0.85 RendererWorkerCount = 3, NEW Values: VideoMemoryScale = 0.65 RendererWorkerCount = 6)

Below i have added screenshots for the adv_options file, manual overclock settings + graph showing inconsistent frame times.

Hopefully someone can help me finding a solution.

Hey,

Your processor supports up to 3200MHz random access memory frequency. By default, the motherboard should select the best settings. Enabling the XMP profile could interfere and cause loss of performance. You overclocked a beast of a graphics card. With improper settings you can experience even more problems.

I was able to resolve my issue by reinstalling windows, for whoever encounters this problem. note that this is not a 100% sure fix for everyone.
