in-store pick up

Hello,

 

So, many stores in Canada have this thing: in-store pick up and we don't ship no matter what! And I ordered a motherboard 500km away from me and I want it to get picked up from a store and get shipped to me. I was woundering if there is a service that do that?

In store pickup means in store pickup.

 

I've never heard of a such a service being offered.

So you ordered the board without even figuring out how you're gonna get it shipped to you?

If it were a relatively short distance, you could easily hire a express Courier (these are delivery companies specialized in same-day pickup and delivery within a relatively small geographical region) to go pick up the item for you, and just call the store ahead of time and let them know who will be picking it up.

 

And while some couriers might actually deliver 500KM away, it's gonna be hella expensive to do so.

 

If it was a Motherboard, why in god's name didn't you just order from Canada Computers, Memory Express, NewEgg.ca, etc?
