My tiny little budget.

So I am trying to upgrade my prebuilt Dell Optiplex that I threw a Gt 1030 in. My current plan to upgrade is to get a new motherboard and a Core i3 10100 as well as ddr4 3000 ram 2x8gb. I plan on keeping my 1030 and current case, I am asking for suggestions of ways to get more for my money. Just keep in mind that my budget is only $300, I am open to any and all feedback.

you can upgrade the cpu to a xeon or a i7 4th gen depending on your budget.

Upgrade to a xeon e3 1230 v2 or better

 

Maybe buy an extra 8gb ram for 16gb ram

I'm sorry I couldn't reply to this earlier but my current cpu only supports up to 8gb of ram and I am fairly certain it is the same for the cpu that you recommended.

I would agree with the cpu but would get only 8gb of ram and save up for something like a 1050ti
