Hello,

So the day come when I think to look around for my first custom mechanical keyboard, till now used razer and its fine but wanna smth custom, smth my won you know.

So I went around found few options like - https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k2-wireless-mechanical-keyboard?variant=31063869718617

Its cheaper but I think more than okay for my first try out. But problem is I could not find any with custom language as I really need eng-ru keyboard, using stickers su*ks and need to replace them every few months.

So can someone suggest any custom keyboards pref 65% (with del/home etc keys on the side, was it 65? still new to all those terms xD) with custom language possibility, if its really impossible then just suggest smth as custom as possible for around 80-120$.

Sounds like you need custom key caps more than a custom keyboard.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

The K2 is a 75% keyboard, as it has a function row. If you get custom keycaps for it, take care, as the keys right of the space bar have a width of 1u instead of 1.25u, and the right shift key is 1.75u instead of 2.75u. These keys are typically not included with cheap keycap sets. As for switches, it's personal preference, so just completely ignore people that tell you to gEt ReDs FoR gAmInG etc etc.

thats some advanced stuff xD maybe u can suggest a "beginner kit" like a beginner package with keyboard to assemble, so I could try it out, pref with some kind of backlight and 65% (with del/hoem keys but no function)

If you want to go custom with a dual language keyboard layout, The first thing to consider is the key caps.  It’s not unusual for different keyboard layouts to have names. You appear to be looking for a specific one. I’d Google the name and see if there are key caps made for the layout you want and then see what those keypad fit.  Might have all kinds of options, might have just a few, or none (kinda doubtful.  Russia is a big country)
