Is this PSU still save to use?

Richard_550

A lightning strike my house at 2015, broke the ethernet-port of my motherboard(fixed now), then i still use this psu regularly for almost 3 year.

Then, upgraded the psu at 2019, just because i want to upgrade something from my rig, still didn't realize the old one broken like that.

Now i want to upgrade the motherboard, i still kinda want to use this psu and use the new one as backup.

Is it save to use? Sometimes i use it just to try if it works, and it works fine.

And can it be fixed?

Why not use a new one and this one as a backup?

VS 550 from before 2015, with orange VS on the label? No, replace it. Not reliable anymore.
