Using a security Key to auto type a password- US English

DoctorLuck

I don't know if this the correct thread. sorry in advance.

I have a security key and I was wondering if there is anyway I can make it so when I touch the button, it will automatically type my password so I can have a very difficult, intricate and more universal password for my devices and possibly for websites that allow for more secure passwords. to make it more secure and quick (2 Factor/ need to know how to use it) and then have a second physical copy written down so if I cant use it I will have a backup. (plus then its like a manual transmission in a car you need to know how to use it to steal it)

While I don't know if it's possible to do it with this security device (as it may not even be a HID compliant device), I have heard of a product called the 'Rubber Ducky' from Hak5 which is basically meant for (almost) this purpose.

You can plug in a USB flash drive type of device and it types something you programmed it to.

It does seem a bit expensive for what it is, tbh.

I think you can do it with AutoHotkey.
