Multi monitor setting causing issues

Hi

just looking for any suggestions people might have regarding multi monitor configurations. I'm really hoping windows 11 will bring some stability into this world when it comes out.

Current issues:

*When windows starts up, it will fail to set up the displays correctly with a possibly of a number of issues such as not selecting the correct resolutions for the displays; completely forgetting the config of them; setting one to a very low res and being unable to adjust it back

*One display will flicker affecting the entire pc lagging it when this happens. Restarting the system resolves this.
