Monitor Arms for 3 Monitors

Inversion

Hi, I'm thinking of getting myself a new 27 inch 1440p monitor but I'd like to keep using my 2 23 inch ones as well. I don't have space to have them all side by side so I'm wondering if there are monitor arms that could take 3 with the 27 inch on the left and the other 2 stacked to the right hand side. Does this exist? Or would it be easier to get a single arm for the new monitor and just get a single thing to stack the other 2?

Depends on which monitors have vesa mounts and what size.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

There are some options available out there but all of them are made by some no-name companies, so no guarantee they will be high quality or any good at all.. I guess there is only one way to find out. However, they do exist. Here are some pics for example:649144.jpg

There are some different options to do this.  For a setup with 2 monitors below and the 3rd top monitor centered, there's the "pyramid" style triple mount.  These have been around for a long time and can be found pretty easily.

For an L-shape setup with 2 monitors side by side and the third one directly above one of the other two, the easiest method would be to get a quad monitor mount and remove the unused arm.

It's also possible to order separate arms, poles and other parts from many of the manufacturers to create your own custom mount.

Basically you’ve got to have a vesa mount to attach to an arm in most cases, and you haven’t said whether the monitors even have vesa mounts or not so it’s hard to say.  There are several suggestions here but both simply assume you have them.  There are two vesa mount sizes I know of though many that accept the large also accept the smaller.

basically this is near useless unless we know what sort of mounts you have.  The information needed is monitor weight (because some arms have weight limits) VESA yes/no. And if yes what size.  Things get a lot more complicated if no and sometimes mean no arm mount at all.  Though that can vary.  Two ways to do that one:  mount it like a crt and simply leave the stand on it, or do some weird non vesa action which only sometimes is even possible.

It is all Vesa Mounts. I've linked the monitors below.

I'm thinking it might just be easier to get one thing to stack the two smaller monitors and a second single monitor arm for the 27 inch.

If you’ve got vesa on everything there’s a bajillion ways to do it.  Pick what you want.  One other thought with vesa arms is how it attaches to the building or furniture you’re attaching to.  lot of options there too.

Highly suggest just biting the bullet and buying three separate monitor arms.

The dual-monitor arm i got does not work well with the shapes of new monitors, single monitor arms avoid all the issues forever.

The amazonbasics single monitor arm thats like $110 works great for my 34" ultrawide, going to buy a second one for my side 27" soon
