Rig for AutoCad and Modern Games...

Budget (including currency): well... two budgets: sub $1000(USD) and $2000(USD)

Country: The not-so-united, United States of America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AutoCad, RDR2,

Other details: I'm a Logitech nerd and run both their keyboards and mice, as well as speakers. Currently running a 1920x1080 LG monitor, at some point I want to upgrade to a 4k monitor but... that's for later.

I'm in need of this upgrade because at the end of the summer I'll be starting a trade program that requires I learn to use, and actually use, AutoCad for creating blueprints and models so I'll be forced to use both the 2d and 3d workspace. I'd also like to be able to run RDR2 and other current generation games at moderate to high settings. If I can get a system to work smoothly with AutoCad and other modeling software for under $1000 I'd be REALLY happy, but I think that's probably unreasonable so my current hard budget is $2000. My current computer is a mid 2015 MacBook pro (go ahead yuck it up) that continues to serve me well... its just not keeping up as much as I need or would like it to.

This will be my first PC build. I'm completely ambivalent about aesthetics, and am more than open to pre-used hardware (so long as I have a reasonable expectation of it actually functioning). Room to upgrade further would be ideal, but not a hard requirement. To be clear, so long as I'm not spending more for it, I'd like to avoid RGB like the plague. I'm also very open to building with the intent of upgrading later, so things like saving on RAM and storage capacity are very much so on the table.

Oh, perhaps some context if you are not aware... AutoCad is a bit of a nightmare to run due to the way it has been updated over the years... its highly inefficient to run (This was an explanation given to me by a college professor, so I think there's a 50:50 chance of it being true).

If you need a GPU by the end of the summer, you are likely going to need a prebuilt with a GPU. https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali526/p/N82E16883360131?Description=rtx 2060 prebuilt&cm_re=rtx_2060 prebuilt-_-83-360-131-_-Product&quicklink=true this is a solid prebuilt which will handle AutoCAD/Modern Games. There are RGB fans, but you can disable the lighting in software.

Assuming you have some magic way of aquiring GPUS at MSRP:
