Which type of projector has the best black uniformity performance?

I went to the cinema to watch 2k movies and felt that the black uniformity performance was terrible. I was worried that the projector I am going to buy was worse than my LCD TV.

Projectors vs tvs is like laptops vs desktop. You'll pay more for a projector the same performance as a tv. However they have a use case, and if you're willing to spend $$$ you can be on par with TV performance, but get a bigger picture. Projectors have a use case, if you need one get one, if you don't, save money and get a TV.
