Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: For Honor, the Battlefield franchise, CS:GO, ARK

Other details: I already snagged 3060 Geforce RTX for my build and I still need everything else. This is a link to a build I made with a friend helping me. https://newegg.io/86f476a I'm hoping someone can help me find a way to cut corners on price while somewhat maintaining the PCs performance.

Could drop the m2 down to a samsung l, it's popular for a reason

 

650watt PSU should be enough, gaming can't make use of multi GPU systems so you can scale down the headroom to ~100watts surplus

 

If you want to save more money scour eBay, Craigslist, & OfferUp for used PCs & parts. Odds are if aesthetics aren't your thing you can pick up an ATX case for <20$. I found one for free (an older gen cooler master case).

You are using a $150 75Hz monitor with an RTX 3060. I would not cut this corner.

 

Take advantage of that 3060

10700f 8 core, lock the max turbo multi (48) on all cores in the bios for extra performance

 

Cheapest z590 that isnt garbage
