How to use Riva Tuner OSD with VLC Player?

Hello, so, I use a program that is called SVP to interpolate the FPS of my videos from 24 to 60 for example, and I use MSI Afterburner with Riva Tuner to see the FPS at what the video is playing or whatever, but the OSD doesnt work with VLC, only with PotPlayer that is the one I use, I post this here for if any of you could have any idea on how could it make it show up in VLC, thank you in advance

If by FPS you mean the frame rate at which a video is played, you can access that information while playing by clicking on Tools -> Codec information.

In the video stream there should be a row with that information.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Ah yeah thats not realtime, the option i gave.

I don't know how to do that in VLC.

But if you're using (on Windows) K-Lite codec pack, and its included Media Player Classic (while video playing) click on view -> statistics.

Then it will show current frame-rate in realtime.

Yeah I used to use MPC but it was messy so I moved to PotPlayer, I was trying to see if I could see the FPS in real time in VLC too because it seems like I fucked up something with the audio in PotPlayer and it doesn't seem to get back to normal even if I reset to default haha

Hahaha oopsie.

But if i may ask, what do you consider being a mess in MPC?
Maybe you can uninstall PotPlayer and re-install?

And the reason a 'gaming-overlay' wont work on a video, is that it uses a different way (of painting the pixels on the screen) then RivaTuner expects.

But it does work with Pot tho, like this https://gyazo.com/9e7750d910c628127f26a8956a507c77

I dont remember because I haven't used it in a while but it did weird things with the subtitles and resolution some times and I had to fix it myself

PotPlayer probably uses a more standarised way of painting those said pixels.

You most likely can enable the same style of output in VLC, you will just have to find the right one. As i don't know of the top right now.

You can however select those here:
