10400F+2666Mhz vs 3500X+3200Mhz

Hello, 

 

Is an i5 10400F with 2666MHz RAM better than a 3500x paired with 3200MHz RAM?

 

What should I buy?

 

GPU: RTX 2060

Monitor: 1440p 144hz

The 3500x with 3200 Mhz will be faster. The difference will be marginal but with the 3500x you can overclock it in the future if you want to but that's not something you can do with the i5.
