Hi!

I have recently built a pc but i am having an issue with having no display. The PC will boot up, fans are running, gpu leds are showing, cooler leds are showing, however 2 Q-LEDs on the motherboard (Asus B560f) are showing after boot. VGA Q-LED is solid white and Boot Q-LED is solid yellow/green. Also I have just realised that my CPU has no igpu (i7-10700kf). I have a 3060 installed, however as this is a fresh build the driver have not been installed. Previously to the VGA and Boot Q-LED, the D-ram Q-LED was showing up on the motherboard in solid orange however it is no longer there since running a single ram stick in the second slot.

When the PC boots up, i get no display on the monitor.

I have an m.2 drive installed and a HDD but they have no data on them. I have a usb with windows 10 on it and was going to install it that way.

I have tried a hdmi in both the motherboard and the gpu however same problem with no display.

My question is, as my cpu has no igpu and i have no drivers installed for the dedicated 3060 GPU, how can i get my pc to show a display to access the bios and then install windows 10?

Most GPUs can display a kinda crappy low Rez image without gpu specific drivers.  Might have to set your monitor to it.  Also your gpu might need reseating.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Not having any video output is a big problem for sure.

You can install on a different computer and then move drive to this one, but need to have the graphics driver already installed too.

Linux could be more user friendly, if you only have android phone: https://softwareguidehelp.wordpress.com/2020/04/10/how-to-make-a-bootable-linux-usb-drive-from-android-no-root/

Could install linux over ssh, never done that myself as my ISP has blocked port forwarding on the router.
